You are Wanted!

Hi everyone, Hope you had a nice Christmas! We enjoyed a quiet time here, just the two of us. We are in the process of painting, and just giving our bedrooms a nice update.
And yes, we just started working this evening.
Everything is uprooted.
Okay, enough about that. I am letting you all know that we are need of at least 2 designers. We have a 3 or 6 month's term. If you would be interested please PM me, here on FB. We accept anyone that has a blog. Experience is  not necessary. But, I would love to see at least 3 samples of your work. I will say, working with digital images is a must.
Thanks, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Dance Like... a Flamingo

Hello, everyone!  Welcome to my blog, I would like to introduce my newest Image,  Flamingo Dance.   She is available in my Zibbet Shop.  Here is a Link.

Here is my card, (sample)

Inside of card, below...

I didn't have a stamp, so created it myself.
not too bad I guess.

I really love the Oxide Ink Pads, by Tim Holtz.

Well, I'm signing off for now, our area is experiencing a bad ice storm... and even though I'm using my cell phone for internet, I can't be sure that it will remain on.

Thank you for stopping in!  :)

Hello, There's a Challenge going on...

Hello everyone!  We have a Challenge going on over at Christmas Crafts All Year Round, and you're  invited!   The theme is Gingerbread!

Here is my project that I made for the challenge. ♥

This is my own image, that I created just for this challenge.  I named the Gingerbread:  Gingerbread Joy  You may find this Image in my Zibbet Shop, the link has been provided. ♥
I think he is cute, celebrating the Season of Christmas by spreading Joy!

For this card I used Prisma Coloring Pencils
Poinsettias from Hobby Lobby
Gingerbread man button from Hobby Lobby
Sentiment from my stash
Red dp from my stash
Merry Christmas design paper from Trimgyms Digistamps and Images, this paper is available for free, all the owner asks is that you use it for personal use only.  And provide a link back to her blog.  Which I have done.  ;)

I hope that you'll join in our Challenge at CCAYR.

Have a great, crafty day! ♥

He's Makin' a List and Checkin' it Twice!

Hello and Welcome to my crafting corner..
I would like to tell you about my card I have made for Christmas Crafts All Year Round.
(You'll have to excuse the lighting)
Its kind of hard to tell if I gave his face any coloring but I sure did.
This is my card made with our new digital image, "Checking it Twice".

How to make the beard white?  Well, I gave that a lot of thought.  So, I got out my liquid pearls in the shade of white opal, it wasn't bright white but it worked for what I wanted it to do.  Texture.
Click on the photo to look more closely.
Anyway, I wanted to let you know that CCAYR is having a Challenge.  So hope to see you there!

Thanks for coming by to visit my blog.

Morning Glory Coffee Cup

Hello!  I just wanted to present another card using the same designed digital image of - Morning Glory Coffee Cup
I made this to fit into a A2 size envelope.   I can see this image being used as an invitation!   Or to send to a special someone, just to let them know, you are thinking of them.
I love the old-fashioned paper and the dainty lace.

This image is available in my Etsy Shop.  :)

"I Can"

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13

Sometimes we might think we can do things by our own strength, but when we rely on ourselves to do everything... eventually those things will start weighing us down.  This often happens to me.  I think, okay Lord, I can handle this matter, no problem.   But it's when those matters and cares of the world start to weigh heavy upon our shoulders that it can get us down.   We are weak.  But God is strong.  He can take all the worry & issues of the day and whisk them all away.   All it takes is for us to be willing to come to Him.  And lay it all down at the foot of the Cross.   His yoke is easy and His burden is Light.   He says, Come.  Come to Him and lay every burden down.
May you know the Love that He has for you!

Christmas Crafts All Year Round Challenge!

Hi! and a Happy New Year to all my crafty friends!  There's a new challenge going on at Christmas Crafts All Year Round!
The theme for January is "Thank You" with a Christmas flair!   So, make sure you visit Christmas Crafts All Year Round to enter into the challenge!    Here's my card:
I decided to go with House Mouse designs stamp.  Olive green card base; red cut out frame using my Cricut; image colored in using my prisma pencils; the thank you is a stamp; the poinsettia just happened to be from my stash; and snow flake washi tape behind the thank you sentiment.   I thought this looked sweet and cozy.  I also used liquid pearls in white opal and glitter to indicate snow.

Thank you for visiting my blog, and I hope you'll let me know you were here by leaving some comment love!   Happy New Year!  Mary ♥
